Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: Full reimbursement minus handling charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Handling Charge: €50 for card payments
Requirements: Must be sought officially through email or phone communication
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Handling Charge: €25 taken from the refund total
Stipulations: A valid justification is required; administrative costs are incurred
Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: Refunds are not available
Exception: Cases of urgency may be taken into account
Alternative: A credit for chartering may be given at the discretion of the management
Terms: Supporting evidence required for claims of emergency
Cancellations due to Weather
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety stands as our paramount concern. In instances where the weather is deemed unsafe for yacht operations by our professional captain, we provide accommodating choices:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling isn’t feasible, a complete refund is provided
- Reschedule: You may shift your charter to an alternative available date at no extra fee
- Charter Credit: Credit valid for one year from the initial charter date
Process of Weather Evaluation
Our assessment of the weather includes:
- Analysis of wind velocity and direction
- Determining wave scale and sea state
- Forecast for visibility and precipitation
- Advisories and alerts from the Coast Guard
- Professional captain’s assessment of safety
Timetable for Decisions: Determinations regarding weather-based cancellations are made no more than 4 hours before the departure time scheduled.
Refunds for Medical Emergencies
Critical Circumstances
We acknowledge the possibility of unforeseen medical exigencies. The instances that may be eligible for special consideration encompass:
- Acute illness or injury necessitating hospital intervention
- Losing an immediate family member
- Urgent military orders or recalls
- Legal obligations like jury duty or subpoenas
- Severe natural phenomena impacting travel
Requirements for Documentation
For handling requests for emergency refunds, please supply:
- Doctor’s note or hospital papers
- Death notification, when relevant
- Military directives
- Legal subpoenas or notices for jury duty
- Government travel advisories or declarations of emergency
Procedure: After receiving the appropriate proofs, we process emergency reimbursements within 3-5 business days.
Cancellations due to Operational Issues
Technical Problems
In the event that the assigned yacht succumbs to mechanical failure that remains unresolved:
- Substitute Vessel: Efforts will be made to arrange an alternate yacht of similar standards
- Full Refund: Offered when a suitable replacement isn't found
- Partial Refund: Issued if the replacement yacht has a different rate
- Compensation: We may provide further compensation to make up for the inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In the unlikely case that the certified crew is not accessible:
- An attempt will be made to provide an alternate crew
- A full refund will be made available if the charter cannot go ahead
- The option to reschedule without incurring additional fees
Method for Refund Processing
Payment Methods
Reimbursements will be issued through the same method used for the original transaction:
- Cards: Within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Within 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Within 3-5 business days

A €50 fee for cancellations done more than 72 hours in advance
Bank Transfer Handling
A €25 charge applies to all bank transfer refunds
International Handling
Extra fees may be applicable for transactions done internationally
Policy on Charter Credits
Occasions for Credit Offers
Credits for future charters may be offered instead of a refund under certain conditions:
- Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- Cancellations due to weather
- Requests made voluntarily for changing dates
- Disruptions in operations
Terms for Credits
- Validity: 12 months from when it's issued
- Transferability: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Amount: The entire value of the charter, exempt from handling fees
- Utilization: Applicable towards any available yacht rental
- Expiration: Credits cannot be extended past 12 months
Partial Refunds for Service Disruptions
Interruptions in Service
Should your yacht rental experience interruptions or end earlier than planned due to issues within our jurisdiction:
- A refund scaled to the portion of service not used
- A voucher for a later charter of equivalent value
- Complimentary upgrades or services may be offered
Interruptions Caused by Guests
In cases where a rental is ended earlier because of guest behavior or breaches of safety:
- There will be no reimbursement for the unused portion
- The full cost remains payable
- Extra expenses might be incurred
Negotiating Refund Disagreements
Should you disagree with a ruling on a refund, you may:
- Ask for a reassessment from our management
- Submit further proofs or details
- Look to consumer protection authorities for a resolution
- Explore legal courses of action as permitted by the law

Acknowledgment of your petition will be made within a day, an evaluation based on this policy will occur within two days, and once approved, we will process the refund within the promised period.

- Refunds will be provided in €, regardless of the currency used to pay
- Acquiring travel insurance is highly advocated
- This set of policies can be updated, with a month's prior notice
